An initial consultation is required and impressions/scans will be taken of your teeth. 3D imaging will then be able to give you a good indicator of what your final result will be. Instead of visiting your orthodontist every 3-4 weeks with traditional braces, you will be visiting your dentist every 6-8 weeks for the next sets of custom made aligners to be issued to you and, generally, you will wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks. The number of aligners issued differs varying on the complexity of each individual case.
